We are proud to announce that several of our EDFL faculty members are traveling to the 2018 AERA conference, where they have been selected to present some of their current research. The 2018 AERA conference is being held in New York City, NY this year and will run from Friday, April 13 - Tuesday, April 17.

The American Educational Research Association (AERA) was founded in 1916, and the annual AERA conference is now considered the largest assembly of scholars in the field of education research. The 2018 conference will bring together researchers from around the world, with this year's conference anticipating over 17,000 participants in over 2,800 sessions on a diverse array of education topics.

The theme of the 2018 conference is The Dreams, Possibilities, and Necessity of Public Education, and three of our faculty members - Dianne Olivier, Sebnem Cilesiz, and Jin Lee - will be presenting research during paper and round-table sessions, while another - Richard Fossey - will attend the Teacher's College Record (TCR) Editorial Advisory Board meeting, on which he is serving as a member.
