The Office of the VP for Research hosted a Research Recognition Reception on November 5, 2014.  The reception recognized and honored faculty for contributions toward the focus of elevating the university's research status.

We are excited to announce that UL Lafayette has recognized two of our distinguished professors.  Dianne Olivier, EDFL Professor, was awarded the Outstanding Doctoral Student Mentor Award, which recognized "those who have shown exceptional productively in the support of graduate education of UL students," and Richard Fossey, EDFL Professor, was awarded the Research Excellence Award, which recognized "those who have demonstrated exceptional scholarship in their field." Dr. Olivier and Dr. Fossey represented the College of Education, and we are very proud.
